I am a US Citizen who applied for my husband.
December 15 2002 - Husband Entered on a Tourist Visa (never left the US)
July 14 2006 - We married
July 24 2007 - Sent the AOS Complete Packet (I-130, I-485 and I-765)
July 26 2007 - Packet Received at Chicago Lockbox (Per USPS Tracking)
July 30 2007 - Rcvd USPS Return Receipt card in the mail confirming July 26 date
August 10 2007 - Waiting for NOA...
August 13 2007 - Checks Cashed! (Yay!)
August 15 2007 - Still waiting for NOA...
August 20 2007 - Biometrics Appointment Letter Received (Yay! 2 Wks from now!)
September 2 2007 - I-765 Online Status Finally on USCIS Website
September 4 2007 - Finally Received Notices of Receipt for I-130, I-485 and I-765
September 5 2007 - Biometrics Done!
September 26 2007 - EAD Approved!!!! Card Production Ordered!!!
October 1, 2007 - E-mail about Approval Noticed being sent!
October 4, 2007 - EAD arrived in the mail!!! Husband is thrilled!!! We went straight to SSN Office!
October 5, 2007 - I-485 still not showing online We are hoping that his case is still active!
October 15, 2007 - I-485 Interview Letter Received!
December 06, 2007 - Interview!
December 06, 2007 - I-130 Approved! I-485 RFE given to us...(doctor forgot to check a box on
the vaccine supplement!!! Ugh!!!). We obtained a new one the same day...
December 07, 2007 - Brought the requested paperwork in directly to the office (same one as the
day before). We were told that it would take about 2 wks for the card to
arrive in the mail to us...
December 17, 2007 - We still don't have the card...but we're still hopeful...
December 31, 2007 - No card...but we are going to Local office soon b/c we have trip planned for 01/16/08
January 2, 2008 - Happy New Year! We had InfoPass appointment today...and later today...CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!
