He's coming home!!!!! Waiver Approval notice was in the mail when I got home today. It was dated 12/22/07 and came from El Paso, TX with a label over the EL Paso address saying it was from Bogota, Colombia. They are farming them out to Mexico, which is a good thing- quicker responses!!! oh, by the way, it was "stamped" signed by Oscar Lujan.

What next? Does he call to make an appt date to pick up the visa or is one scheduled for him?

I need to go get a phone card so I can call him!!!

Yeah congrats!! What a great ne year gift. You should wait for the open appt letter or wait till you are in the system and see if they can fax you the open appt letter.

Awww, thanks! :blush: When I called my husband last night he was working the 6pm to 6am shift, so we didn't have much time to talk. But I was like- this is IMPORTANT! LOL. When I told him I got the approval notice in the mail he said WHAT? and made me repeat myself. Then said REALLY? REALLY? like a bunch of times and he was just in disbelief and shock like I am.

The last couple months and the last trip to see him were really hard. This whole process was taking its toll and I honestly didn't know if we were going to make it, but we did!!! Thank you God and thank you to all my friends that I've made on this site! You've been so encouraging and helpful!

Now, we just have to wait to find out when he gets to pick up that shiny beautiful VISA!

Yes!! Crazy thing is the postman has been sending my mail to the wrong place! But God watched out for this letter and made sure that it wasn't put in my neighbor's mailbox!

We still almost can't believe it, but we are SO excited. We are waiting for him to get put into the system, however long that takes. We Can't Wait!!!!
