oct 22, 2008 filed I130 and I485
march 2009, found out that I485 not eligible, had to withdraw to continue with I130
Sept 2009 sent documents to NVC that were requested
Oct 2009 sent more requested documents to NVC
Dec 2, 2009 received notification of interview appt in honduras
Dec 31, 2009 hubby goes back to honduras
Jan 17, 2010 i meet hubby in honduras for interview
Jan 20, 2010 go to interview, initial visa denied due to 1 missing document ( original copy of divorce from 1st marriage )
Jan 20, 2010 paid I601 waiver fee, consular officer says that visa will be approved upon receipt of divorce decree and waiver will be forwarded to DHS for processing.
Jan 22, 2010 Senator Vitters ofc receives letter from US Embassy stating that all attempts will be made to expedite waiver application per his request on our behalf.
Jan 23, 2010 i return to us
jan 26, 2010 sent certified copy of divorce decree to embassy via fed ex
