Did anyone's spouse stay and visit family on a K-3 visa?

I know that you do not want to stay in Mexico for a prolonged time after the I-601 approval but I was wondering if you can even stay for two weeks or so on the K-3 visa? I know that a lot of people who got the IR1 or CR1 did but is it safe for hubby to visit with familt for a week or two on the K-3?

I'm really not sure, but my husband was approved k-3 on May 2, went to the border, came back across, and stayed in Mexico until May 7. I think that is what, 5 days. He flew through Houston, no questions asked.

Oh so they can leave the US on a k-3 visa? Thanks Lynn---5 days is better than nothing!
