its on monday nights this monday its supposed to be a new episode. We watch it but i try not to because my husband gets pissy everytime. He hates to hear the Latino border gaurds talk because they were te ones when he was caught that were awful to Him and the others. Degraded them and would not give them any food or water till a white guy came along and yelled at the latino gaurds to quit being A$# holes to them. he went out and got burgers and fries to feed them and appearantly it angered the latino gaurds that were there. So when we watch he gets all pissy and cusses the TV..lol

I have it programmed to record the series...comes on at the same time as MY novela... lol but hubby and I watch it together, we both enjoy National Geographic.

oK I watched it last night and I am very upset with our system more them ever at this point :grrr: Ok for those that didn't see it last night they got 2 boys a 14 and a 12 year old crossing with drugs.:omg: ok and what did they do to them ban them for 1 year out of the states. but then again a young guy/boy is told by his parents to cross with this paper and does so.them when he gets married trys to fix status they ban him for LIFE that is just wrong :sick:

I watched this show last night as well. Its pretty interesting. I'm usually yelling at the guys that i know are just coming over just to work for the families to have a better life to RUN when the migra is after them!!!! LOL like if they can hear me! It makes me feel bad to because so many people have died trying to come over here for a better life :(

I like the show too but my husband also gets pissy when I watch it so I wait for reruns! I cant wait to see the episode from last night. Our immigration system is weird. Something I would think is a major deal, like smuggling drugs in a gas tank you should be put in jail but because the car wasnt hers and she "didnt know" they just threw her back to Mexico. It was always hard for me to relate to border patrol before but that episode with the drug smugglers and a shot was fired really made me realize how hard a job it can be. They also do save some peoples lives. . . Once my brother (while my hubby was backlogged in Mexico) was accepted to be a border patrol agent. I felt so betrayed. I am glad he didn't go though. At least the guys on the show are nice to the immigrants just coming to work. My hubby said the ones that caught him were not nice at all though... its hard to know how much is done for the camaras.

Yeah that's what I was thinking I'm glad they are nice to the immgrants. But you are right it's hard to know how much of that is for the cameras.

I just watched this for the first time this week. It made me really sad thinking that is how DH got here and how scary it must have been. I've heard the stories, but this made it more real. I had no idea about the trip sensors set up out in the desert. DH was telling me about all the things they have set up to catch you! If you are trying that, you must really want a better life. People out there have no idea and are so ignorant about immigrants.
