Just trying to be prepared.
Can you share what questions your beneficiary was asked during the first interview and also the waiver interview(if any)
Thanks.
Just want to be able to prep my hubby.

Our first interview was grueling, the interviewer asked questions like how did you meet your wife? and once she had all her answer she requestioned him with his answers... this is when the crazy questions happened.
Why did your friends introduce you to your wife, then she would answer it... because you needed to marry a us citizen to be able to stay in the us.
She got my husband all worked up... but he told the truth and when you tell the truth you cant go wrong.
We just went to our waiver interview and it was a breeze compared to the first one.

We were asked absolutely nothing consulate during the K3 and IR-1 visits. It seems to vary from place to place and also appears to also be the longer you are married the less they ask you.

Mach - aren't you filing through CDJ? I haven't heard anyone say the questions in CDJ are anything like "grueling..." Usually they ask a few brief questions - how did you enter the U.S.? When did you marry? Where is your spouse? Have you ever left the U.S.? etc... I mean, I'm sure they will question your husband about the tourist visa entries, but they don't ask much.

Hi, when we went (honduras) they asked basic questions, where did you meet? how many kids? And when were we married? They mainly focused on his removal from back in 94 and how he was apprehended in 06. They were VERY nice!

How did you enter?
Where did you enter?
How many times did you enter?
Were you ever caught entering?
Did you use a coyote?
How much did you pay?
How did you meet your wife?
What dose your wife do for a living?
Do you guys have kids?
What sorts of things do you two do for fun?
And then looking at photos:
"Is this your dog?"
"Who is this woman at your wedding?"
"Where was this photo taken?"

Since my husband was with me on the Interview, the questions were exactly like in the form:
For hubby:
- What is your wife’s mother name
- What city was she (me) born
- when did you marry
For me:
- What is your address in the US
- How long have you been married
- Where does your husband works
- His phone #
There were no questions when waiver was submitted.

My husband got asked who is insert fathers name? He said my dad. Than he was asked insert daughter name? He answered my daughter. That was it. He was prepared with a whole packet I had given him. He asked if they wanted to see pics or anything and the interviewer said no.
I'm pretty sure if there would have been any hesitation in those first questions than there would be more hassle.
