Green card approved!!!!

Well my wife and step son had there interview today in West palm beach. We arrived around 20 minutes early. We waited about 10 minutes and were the first ones called. We were escorted by a nice gentleman and he brought us in his office. He first swore us in, then asked for passports and EAD cards. He flipped through there immigration file, asked me for my 2006 tax returns, that was it, no questions about marraige, nothing. It took about 10 minutes he said Congragulations Welcome to the USA this case is approved, he stamped my wifes passport as well as my step sons. He told us the Green cards woud arrive in approx 2-4 weeks. I know it will be sooner. OH by the way he did ask for 1-94's. He then tood the EAD'S BACK AS WELL. cASE OVER. DID NOT USE LAWYER.

Awesome! Congratulations on handling everything on your own too. You probably saved yourself a few thousand dollars...Now you all need to take a nice, relaxing vacation!

Well one step closer to the card. My wife and stepson both recieved yesterday a letter fron USCIS welcoming them to the USA. The letter also stated they would recieve there permanent Green cards within 2-3 weeks. Almost party time.
