Hi Everyone, I hope you all are doing fine. Well, this is my first post since the site was upgraded. Some of you mite remember me from before. I came back to my country of origin (Pakistan) on VD in Aug 06 while my I 130 was in process in US and now paper work is done and I have my interview date (on 2nd Oct 07) here at US embassy in Pak. At first my wife (USC) came back with me than later on in Dec 06 she went back to US and gave birth to our baby boy. She is back with me now. I wanted to have some opinions and suggestions about taking my wife to interview with me as she is already in Pak. With this, please know that at first I entered US on visitors visa in Dec 97 than left to Canada in May 02 and than illegal entry and caught on the border (EWI) that’s when my removal proceedings started and finally departed the country in Aug 06. Could her presence at the interview have an effect (good or bad?) on my case?
I know I have a very complicated case and as much as I think and read about it I get more stressed out. Should I start looking at waiver requirements etc? Would I be eligible for one? These are the kind of questions I keep getting in my mind.

I am also looking for some advices and suggestion for the interview (anyone went thru Islamabad, Pak?). Would I still have to proof if my marriage is genuine? Things/ evidences I should take with me to interview and etc?

i will appreciate any information related to my case.
Thanks.

Neither, it doesn't matter. Normally, when the USC is present for the Alien's interview, they're there for support. I.e I made my hubby went with me with all my interviews etc etc...just because I wanted him to. :)
