Quick Question:
We are putting the finishing touches to the I-130 along with the G-325, our lawyer needs my husbands mother's maiden name. She has never been married, She has a first last name, and a second last name, which one is her maiden name? My husband says it is her first last name, but I want to double check. :o
Her maiden name is her first and second last names. Both. That's what my Attorney puts on my application.

We (well, our attorney) put both of my mother-in-law's last names. She has also never been married.

My husband has two last names; the first last name is from his father and the second last name is his mother's maiden name.

Since your MIL is using both last names, I would use both. What does her birth certificate say or her Mexican voter's card or any Mexican ID? I would go by the way that she is legally registered.

Ditto. Always be consistent on this one. Always use the current legal name. If she has two current last names, use both.

Thank-you everyone for your help. I will list both of her last names, since this is what is on her government id. Thanks again. :)
