Does anyone have one? My ex's little brother was deported in Dec. His wife and two kids are here in the US waiting for an interview and I-130 approval. Does anyone know the time lines. I am working on sponsoring my husband right now. i just filed the I-130 for Mexico. She is asking me to help her support him cause she does not work and I make enough to support the three I am applying for and her husband. Anyone got time lines or is it ok for me to do and I-864 for both? I don't want to cause any problems for my husband.

I wouldnt see a problem in sponsoring more people than just your husband if you are willing to. The only thing, as you are aware - is that you earn enough for 6 people technically. You/your huband - and their family of 4.

Actually I would need to earn enough for a family of 8 because of my two step children. I make above the 125 for a family of 8 so I am not worried about that. I just don't want it to effect my husbands applications

Where are they in the process. Have they already completed processing in the NVC?

They just filed the I-130 in Jan or Feb. It was after he was deported in Dec. nnI am not sure if they have been approved yet or what. He was EWI'ed in the summer of 01.

Are you able to say why he got deported? You can see my timeline through El Salvador. I didn't put many details. It took about 5 months, maybe a little more for our I-130 to be approved. Then the NVC processing took a little over 2 months. At the time we completed NVC processing, they were forwarding the files to the embassy in El Salvador to await scheduling of the interview. If I am not mistaken, I think that NVC now keeps the file until the interview is scheduled.

He was arrested....That is all I know, actually all I remember. I know that his brothers paid $10,000 to get him out. He was given a VD.
