06/2004 - 1st mishap w/justice system - DUI
05/2005 - Met Love of my life (Love at 1st sight!)
08/2005 - Nearly lost my husband -
2nd mishap w/justice system - Car Accident and DUI
09/2005 - Received amazingly romantic proposal (of course Accepted!)
03/11/206 - Luis and I Married!
Put off the filing anything for almost a year....still haven't determined whether that was a good idea or bad idea....

Luis said I saved his life.... I'm not sure if he was suffering from past demons or what...but his drinking was completely out of control. Luis had 2 final mishaps with the justice system in late January (a week exactly apart) 1 charge Domestic Assualt, 2nd Aggravated Assault. OMG!!! What are we going to do NOW???? Pleaded w/ Judge to allow Luis to go to counseling. Judge agreed and on successfuly completion - all charges to be dismissed.02/2007 - Luis begins counseling....
02/2007 - Received NOA
03/2007 - I-130 APPROVED!!
04/2007 - Received Choice of Agent / Sent off next day
05/2007 - Received Visa Bill and Affidavit of Support Bill
09/2007 - Hired Immigration Atty
10/2007 - Final court hearing for Domestic Issues - ALL CHARGES DISMISSED!
Atty accompanied - stated she'd have charges expunged. Paid Atty $150 to do the same thing we could have done....dismissed...
10/2007 - "Dismissed" Atty - Decided WE can do just as good of a job w/ help from everyone with I2US!!
11/2007 - Filled out Expungement Order for Luis - Waiting on Approval
11/2007 - Sent off FBI Fingerprint Check
Currently waiting to send off Visa Bill and Affidavit of Support Bill - Possibly in January...Hoping to have 3 years proven rehabilitation (or close to it) by the time we have our interview.
