I was wondering what do I need to be able to stay with my husband while we are waiting for the I-601 approval.

My husband says you don't need to do anything but I think that you need to go to the embassy and register with them and tell them that you are residing in Honduras.

I would contact the Embassy there and ask what you need to do to stay there temporary.

As an american I believe you can stay up to 90 days with no problems, but if you want to stay longer I think you have to go to the embassy and pay (I am not 100% on that part)! I would contact the embassy to make sure!

When I was living in Czech Republic with my husband, the immigration office there told my husband that I could stay 90 days and then I should leave the country for a short time (less than a day was fine). As long as they stamped my passport leaving I would be fine and if they didn't stamp my passport coming back into the country, I could stay there much longer. Of course, I wasn't working there, so it wasn't no problem for me to do this.
