I have been member on this web site for a while now and I am in Dallas Texas. I am about to start my journey to Liberia to apply for a 601 waiver for ewi from Canada cause my I 485 was denied two years ago in Dallas . I am currently on tps temporary protective status for Liberians that means I being able to work here for the past six years .My lawyer is charging about $2000.00, but I would like to file the papers myself.i have been married for about fours years and me and my wife just got approved for a house .My tps expires in October 1st and i have about six months to leave ,to avoid constituting illegal presence.I already received visa notification from from the Vermont visa center .My questions ,what do I file to get my appointment for my visa and can I choose the date. Does any one have an idea of how long waivers take to process in Ghana

I am not very familiar with TPS, but why exactly was your adjustment I485 denied? Was it filed based on an approved I-130 spouse petition? Is adjustment from TPS not allowed, because I don't believe a waiver is required for EWI only? Hopefully someone with more experience in this area will chime in.
