Extension of time before logging out

Hey Marie

Would love to see more time allotted before the site logs you out. So many times I have written up a post, only to find that I have been logged out when I go to post it. How long is it set for at the moment? Seems only about 10-15 minutes.

That is weird. I stay logged onto the site all day and sometimes all night. I have never been logged out.

Yeah, I'm getting timed out fairly quickly. I do not in general use the 'remember me' on boards as I delete cookies constantly. So if the time could be extended that would be great :p

I was having the same problem! And it was frustrating b/c when I was finished playing pacman in the arcade I couldn't save my scores b/c I was logged out!!! :blush: That was embarrasing to admit! Anyways, then I used remember me and the problem was solved... I didn't want to really use it either, b/c I'm at work, but I'll do anything to save those scores... :D

i don't have the problem at all. Are you sure it's not your cookie settings? I never get logged out at all. I'm going to check though later. I have some things I need to attend to until later tonight.

ok I upped the length, let me know if it gets better. As for the first page, still looking into that.

I'm having the same problem about time running out before I finished my post, not sure what to do. I don't think I took that long, but I do ramble on and on so maybe the computer was saying, shut up already!

This never happens to me either. I can be logged in for hours. It could be something with the security settings or like marie said, the cookie settings on the computer.

Strange. I've never had that problem and sometimes stay logged in all day.

I get kicked off after 2 minutes at work. Must be some sort of filter they have going on for "chat rooms". When I am home, I stay logged in all day.
