What ticks me off about this video is how a prominent--albeit biased--television broadcaster can know so little about immigration law.
My point comes about halfway through when he says "He can apply to stay like anyone else..." and claims that "a good job" and "ties to the country" are proof enough to get a visa to stay in the U.S. He really has no idea! He even talks about a marriage license being all someone needs to come to the U.S. AND how much marriage fraud there is in the U.S. I just want to scream.

Be warned, it's Bill O'Reilley.

ARRRGHHHH
Speaking of misinforming the public..
Did anyone SEE that episode of Family Guy last week?? About illegal immigration? Peter (the dad of the family) learned that his mom gave birth to him in Mexico and for whatever reason didn't fill out the citizenship papers for the U.S. and blah blah blah guess what he has to do to fix it?? He was illegal and all he had to do was go take a citizenship test.. ... are you freaking KIDDING ME??? And you have NO idea how many times GROWN adults have asked me "why doesn't your husband just take the citizenship test???" and give me a face like I'm some kind of idiot... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!

My favorite is when they let me know that my husband is a citizen already, he's married to me after all....

Yeah everybody thinks that marriage will automatically make you a citizen. Even a lot of the immigrants are uninformed and don't understand what a complicated process it is. There should be classes or something lol jk but people's ignorance really irritates me as well. SIGH.

Some of them know better. They don't want to explain it correctly. If they are anti-immigrationist then they want to make it sound like it's easy and that the illegals just don't want to bother with it. I was listening to a man on a.m. radio one night on a talk show...oh my goodness...how they are able to sway uninformed peoples opinion!!! It's unreal how they present issues. And people believe the least little thing they hear without checking it out! Just think how many Americans have a tarnished view of our immigration process. No wonder with the media outlets presentation of biased news.

That is the most frustrating to me. When I see someone spreading lies that millions of people are going to believe. You have no idea how many times the Dream Act was PURPOSELY misrepresented in the media (and then the congressmen themselves say these things) and probably is a huge reason for it's downfall..
I hate when people are racist, or when people are ignorant, etc. etc. just when people do something and get away with it. I don't like to see people go unpunished.. And then think that behavior is ok.. It drives me CRAAAZY. I should get into law enforcement or something lol!

These guys present themselves as educated, and truthful, and THEN they say things like this guy did, THAT is what kills me.
Then he had the nerve to cut the guest, who actually knew what she was talking about, off short. Did you see her biting her lip to keep from saying something?? She kept looking at him like she pitied his naiveté.
HE SWAYS public opinion even without knowing what he's talking about! People look up to him!

absolute misinformation
I agree with her that couples are forced to choose between their country and the person that they love
I'll vouch for that because I know I was as are many of you.

Everyone thinks is just so easy here u go sign here and u can have papers. Thank you come againd!! >=(
