First, I want to say how happy I am that a forum like this exists. I have been reading the experiences and advice of others on this forum over the last few months and found the info very helpful. My boyfriend and I had a consultation with a lawyer just to find where to start or application process, and she wasn't able to tell me anything that I had not already read on this forum. Actually, I got more info from this website!
My fiance is from Mexico and entered without inspection in 2000. We have been together 3 years and want to get married. We just started filling out the I-129, but we are a little apprehensive about putting down his address here and his employment history for fear of revealing information that might help immigration find and deport him. He has been here illegally and working illegally for the past 7 years. Has anyone had experience with that? Or can offer any advice?
Also, anyone have a list of documents that I should send with the application? As far as I can see, I need the I-129 application, passport style photos, a g-325a for each of us....anything else?
