Does it strike anyone else as completely unfair that the prices have more than doubled on certain applications, and yet there is no guarantee of better processing time.

Suddenly they are demanding more money, but giving nothing for it besides the *idea* that they will soon upgrade computers, and *maybe* hire more people.

If I am wrong I beg someone to correct me. I would gladly pay the $1,090 that they are now charging for the I601/212 special, if it meant that they would give me my results in under six months!:bluesad:

My hubbys interview is the 31st of July. In our packet they send us the fees for some stuff but i will think they are just the regular fees. Will new fees be apply to us? visa fee? 601 waiver fee?
Where can I see how much this fees will be?:ah:

On or after July 30, the new fees apply. The visa fee is the same but if you have to file a waiver (i.e. 601 or 212) It's a new fee.

You can read them here:

I think I am confused. At the link that you provided, at the end of second page is said "temporary workers fee".... I thought that law did not pass? Did I miss something???

Ginger there has already been a temprary worker plan in place for a long time. The idea I think was just to increase the number of workers permitted, etc.
