my husband had a social security card that said not valid for employment in his name when he finally gets his i-601 wavier approved will he get a social security card with this same number or a new number??

My husband has the same one. We were told that is long as it is valid he would receive the same #.

You have the same number, essentially, for life. There are very few scenarios in which they will give you a new number.
