Anyone who has experience at US embassy here in Manila?

Hi. I'm just wondering if any of you here have an experience of filing a waiver at the US embassy here in Manila, Philippines. I know the embassy here is tough, and I want to know how tough they are. Is there really a very little chance of getting an I-601 waiver approved without an extreme medical condition on the part of the USC? Thanks!

my husband is from manila. he came here illegy as in EWI, i was still thinking of filing the I-130 so we can go o the nest step called waiver I-601 if im right? however my lawyer said and the people in his forum who are very helpful told me that it's very low chanes that you may be approve, thats why im scared that my husband wil be deny. just wait and someone will give you information.:wave:

go look around www.visacentral.net. That is Laurel Scott's site and I remember seeing a little info on Manila, but I can't remember what it was about since my husband is from mexico. I work in a company with many Philipino staff and they tell me that a few of them tried and were denied, but there were two (i think it was two) that they knew of that made it.

Well, i have the option of filing a waiver or wait until my 3 year-bar is over. We opted waiting for my ban to lapse till we proceed with the iimigration process because we heard the probability of getting the waiver in manila to be approved is almost zero!......You are just going to waste money and time...
