help me with this question please

I need to find out a couple of things please if anyone can help and i'm new to this.
I entered the US on a waiver visa in May this year and stayed for 3 months. I returned to south africa but now i hear that it could take up to 2 years to get a fiancee visa. If i re - entered the country and got married to my fiancee will this give me problem with getting residency. I feel to have to wait so long i will go out of my mind.
I am a british citizen but also have south african citizenship as i have lived here for 30 years since childhood.
Any help please!!!!!!!!

It doesn't normally take two years for a fiance visa. It depends on how long it takes for the petition to be processed in the US, sent to your consulate, and how long it takes them to arrange an interview. You should check timelines in your country on www.visajourney.com (http://www.visajourney.com).

Visa waivers are not meant for marriage. If you have prior intent to marry (which clearly you do) then it is not legal to enter the country on the VWP,marry and adjust your status. You could face problems at your interview because you intended to immigrant using the VWP - it's not recommended and is one of the reasons why Fiance Visas exist.
