boiled the chiles in water with the seeds in it (if you want it spicy)
after they are boiled, you blended with salt, garlic and cloves.
you will drain the paste to avoid the seeds and vains in the sauce.
In a pan you pour the olive oil and fry the onion that has been cut in slices, until they are tender.
you add the mushrooms and let them get tender (2 or 3 minutes)
after onions and mushrooms are tender you add the sauce until they start to boil (normally about 4-5 minutes) at this point you add the shrimp (devained and out of the shells) you can leave the tails for a better flavor..
if sauce is too thick, you can add some water (maybe 1/2 cup) and you stir for a little bit until the shrimp turns pink and let it sit for a few minutes, dont let it stay too long otherwise the shrimp will over get overcooked.
My husband looooves the "camarones a la diabla".
You serve it with some mexican rice or with steamed rice. Its delicious! be careful if you are not use to spicy.
