Hello Laura,
Do you think that you can ask the following question for me?
My husband did not show up to court for a traffic ticket issued for driving without insurance and one headlight broken, therefore, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest. However, he was not arrested because he paid a bond and paid the traffic tickets immediately. Is this going to keep him from being approved on the spot? Should I present evidence that this problem was resolved in hardship letter?
Thank You
Laura

I don't think this could keep you from otherwise being found clearly approvable (assuming your hardship stuff is strong), but I'll ask her for you.

Thank you Laura.
I'm just so worried because I don't really have strong hardships.
I plan to use my career/graduate education as one of my strongest hardships.
I'm quite healthy so I don't really have any medical hardships, except that I might inherit breast cancer because my mother died of breast cancer. I don't have any kids, so I can't use that excuse.
I'm just really worried and I wish this was over!

I agree that this should not keep you from being approved through the pilot program.
Also Laura I was hoping that you would ask her if :
Can you now request your completed CRI/IR1 packet to be sent to CDJ if you have a K-3 interview scheduled? I know that you found out that if someone was backlogged and will be picking up their visa it can be converted but what about an upcoming interview?

Hey Laura Can U Ask Laurel A Question For Me? If U Can. I Know I've Received Many Advice But I Want One More From Her Even Though I Know What The Answer Might Be. Thanks!!my Husband Came In For The First Time In March 2000, He Was Caught March 7,2000 And Left. He Came Back In That Same Month And Got Thru. He Gave A False Name But They Got His Fingerprints. The Same Thing Happend In June 2003. He Came In Was Caught, Left And Came Back In And Got Thru. My Question Is If Anyone Knows If We Are Risking Getting A Ban For Having Coming In So Many Times? Our Appt Is Nov 30 And I Want To Make Sure Its Worht Going Over There? When He Was Caught He Has Never Had Any Deportations.

Lopez,
Honestly, we all know what Laurel is going to say. Your husband will be ineligible for the waiver until he leaves the U.S. for 10 years. He entered the U.S. illegally, stayed for more than a year, and then left and re-entered again. The fact that he has caught both times means you couldn't cover it up even if you wanted to try. It doesn't matter that he doesn't have any deportations, being here for a year, then leaving and re-entering unfortunately is the same as a deportation followed by a re-entry.

i know=( and were still going, and we will probably move to mexicali, but i'll come work over here becasue currently i'm almost ready to being hired by LAPD and hopefully i can get a similar job somewhere along the border. our plans if they keep him are that i stay here and finish my bachelors and then go over there. we rather live in the border than live in sinaloa were hes from. its going to take a big sacrifice moving over there becasue i have never lived in mexico, but in the long run it will be worth it!
