My husband's I-130 was approved! We received the notice today! It's very bitter-sweet. I'm happy because we're one step closer, but we're also one step closer to him leaving!

I feel so depressed! :(

Congratulations Klame!!

It gives the rest of us hope who have been waiting 5+ months like you have!!

How did you find out - was it an email notice or did you actually get the letter in the mail??

I received an actual notice in the mail. Try to keep your spirits up! It's a hard long process, but very worth it in the end. Our I-130 went through the California Service Center although we live in TX.

Its such awesome news still. I am very happy for you!!

I just keep hoping - that because we used a lawyer - they actually have received (or will receive) our NOA2 and just forward it asap!!

We filed at Nebraska - but are also waiting at CSC!!

Great way to start the week!!

All I-130s and I-129F that would have gone to the TSC address now (and have for at least the last year) go to CSC/WAC for processing...

We're using a lawyer too!

Sorry for all of the questions - you just renewed my faith though with your approval after an otherwise dismal monday for me ... hehe

Did the notice come from forwarded from your lawyer or right from USCIS? Now I am wondering if they send out a notice to both parties ...

We never received the NOA1 - just a copy of the one our lawyer received - so I was thinking the NOA2 might come the same way.

The notice came straight from USCIS and it also states that one was sent to him (the lawyer).

It is entirely possible that they've sent something to your lawyer. We had a paralegal for our K-1 portion, though the I-601 waiver process and beyond was all done by me...though they continued to send notifications to the paralegal as well as us.

Congrats and goodluck in your other processing. I understand how you feel bout your husband leaving soon. You just have to take heart and get it done once. It is well with you.

Congrats on the I-130. Where will your I-601 be processed at? The time between the I-130 approval the the time the I-601 was approved was our longest wait. But it sounds to me that your husband will stay with you until his interview.

Wishing you the best and a speedy waiver approval!

Lucky Sprite should be right behind, and then maybe me next month. I'm also not sure how I'll feel when I get it..

Also, I dont know if you guys remember, but mine had a mixup after we filed with my husband's divorce date, making our marriage invalid and forcing us to remarry. I sent the new supporting docs in, but never heard anything, so I may get a denial and have to refile..

His I-601 will be processed in Honduras. I've heard that it's a very short wait between the I-130 approval and interview when it comes to Honduras. I guess we'll wait and see.

Arodrigues - I don't think you will get a denial - but if anything - you would get an RFE (request for evidence) in case what you re-sent them never met up with the original petition. Hopefully you kept copies of what you re-sent so that if they do require more evidence - you'll be ready!!! Hopefully though - they will be on top of things - and you won't get an RFE!!

We want more approvals just like Klame's!!

Thats GREAT! It's hard to know what countries people are from. Most other countries take much longer time processing the waivers. There's no better news to hear than that you've been approved! Wishing you and your spouse a fast approval!

LuckySprite-I'm also hoping the package met up with my file, but I do have extra copies. The thing I worry about is them approving the first petition with the wrong divorce date and our first marriage date, then having a problem at the interview when my husband has already left the country..I'm even ok with having to refile if it comes to that, as long as he's still here.

I understand!! Good Luck with that - I really hope they got something right this time, if ya know what I mean!! I hope we both hear something soon - one way or another!
