When my husband and I got married his dad gave him a SS card and hubby told me that this was issued to his father and it was his. Of course my question to him was where did he get it? and was it valid? and how? he told me that when his dad received it from the SS office along with his and 3 more for his siblings it does say not valid for work when we consulted with the Atty. she asked my father in law where it was from and he told her the same thing. How do you think that he was able to have this issued to him for his children if they are not supposed to be in the country. Does anyone have any ideas?
