Montreal Waiver

Its been two months that I sent my waiver to Montreal & haven't received any acknowledgement or receipt. When I tried to contact Montreal embassy they email me that your case has been transferred to USCIS & they 'll send you the receipt. Does someone know how long USCIS take to send me a receipt number. Is there a website where I can check my waiver status?

I've read that it takes quite a while to get a receipt for this and saw on another post that the best thing to do is wait for the canceled check and see the receipt number on the back of that.

When did Montreal ACTUALLY transfer the waiver, I've read that that part can take 2 months alone and then another one for USCIS to register it.

PM me if you'd like to discuss Montreal, I'm comparing stories with others right now. Montreal has been very nonresponsive with me and many of the others I've spoken to.

In my case it took Montreal almost a month and a half to even say they received my appeal and then additional couple weeks to send it off to Vermont. I was told that Vermont can take up to 45 days to acknowledge receipt. It took Vermont a month in my case.

There is a website but it does not give I-601 status.

we are waiting as well.. just submitted waiver to Montreal last week. Looks like we have tons more waiting to do.. ugh
