Omg all this is just so confusing, I am new to to all this! My wife filed her waiver on aug 18 2006 and haven heard anything ever since, now what I am not too sure about is that if we were supposed to get a notice saying that they had our packet and to just wait until they made a decision on our case. Any help would be very much appreciated thank you!

I know that they're working on waiver files that were submitted to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in September. You may want to call DHS @ 202 663 1541 and find out when your waiver was received.

Not to get your hopes up, but you'll probably be getting something in the mail anytime now. :)

Edit: I guess I should note that this is for waivers that are being processed @ Ciudad Juarez.

Dustin -- is your wife from Mexico? IE: did you file in Ciudad Juarez?

I files my waiver 8/16/06 and it was transferred to DHS on 8/19/06..They are currently working on August and September.

I had the same question, I thought that they must have lost my packet b/c I never received a receipt or anything, but that is normal according to my attorney. You can call 202-663-1541 with your case number cdj... and check on the status. I hope that answered your question.
