Hi guys thanks for your help in the pass, I just have some questions any feedback would be appreciated. Does any one know of any good attorney I can contact my present attorney seems not to be very familiar with the laws and seems to be too busy for me to have a face to face consultatio with her. I am going to give you guys a feedback of my case.My husband came in from Canada with a valid visa with a van full of canadian citizens all the passports was handed to the immigration officer and given back.i knew my husband for many yrs before and was a permanent resident at time we got married and I was waiting to get citizenship so we could adjust his status any to make a long story short we hired an attorney to do so and he filed all the necessary paperwork we were given an interview and the requirements was sent to the attorney at that time we discovered that even though my husband had a valid vvisa in his passport the immigration oficer never stamped his passport at the border so he had no proof of entry and therefore could not adjust his status in the us my husband left voluntarily and has been in Trinidad still. The attorney filed a new I -130 since the precious was denied. I 130 was approved and case sent to the nvc, the nvc sent notice for payment to the attorney and they kept it for months without notifying me that I needed to pay until I got the nvc number from a friend and call and was told the letter was sent months earlier, when I contact my attorney she said she forgot to notify me. then that was sent the instructions came for the affidavit and biogrpahic my attorneys failed to properly fill out the forms and as a result we are now waiting agian I really need a responsible attorney as soon as possible please help me.

You are losing precious time because of an idiot... Start filling out the forms and filing them on your own. Many people on I2US have filed their I-601s w/o attorney assistance. People here will help you, and the letters and resources posted on this site will help you.

Everyone on this site raves about Laurel Scott, and from her postings one can see she is well versed in immigration law. It might be worth it to at least do a consult with her.

I would have to say it wouldn't hurt to have a consultation with Laurel Scott. I had one with her a few months ago. She was very straightforward and explained to me what my chances would be for filing the I-601. She specializes in that area but I'm pretty sure she would be able to answer other questions pertaining to immigration law. Her website is www.visacentral.net.
