Not to disappoint, Tom Tancredo, the most anti-immigrant lawmaker, called ICE to the protest. Classy!

This would be great if it passed. I have a friend who had a full scholorship to college plus the Florida Bright Futures scholorship, but because of her illegal status she couldn't go to college. She had been in the US since she was 4 yrs old.

Is there an age limit on this? Do you have to be 18 or under to benefit?

Nevermind, I read the article...it's 5 to 17 years old.

It did not get 60 votes to pass. 52-44. Dissapointing.

The word 'amnesty' always comes up and they don't want it to look like that's what they're giving to them. Sad, very sad.
