As most you, I came to this site looking for info about what has happened to my wife and how to fix it. It has helped me tremendously.
At first, the problems with the site and that it was slow put me off. Now with the new server and board software, it works great and am finally able to read everything on here easily.
The stories here of American citizens going through this nightmare process is heart breaking. It makes me sad to think our country does this to it's own citizens. Maybe I'm naive, but I thought just like alot of you that we could fix these problems. I thought our government would listen to us, and we could somehow work it all out.
Some of the ICE agents I have talked with who have been doing the job for 10 to 15 years do not agree with how things are handled. I know quite a few FBI agents and they do not like what is going on at all. Alot of those people think it's all a misallocation of resources.
I got more sympathy and sound advice from these federal cops than I have from my elected representatives, and I live in a Democratic state!
Reading others situations on here makes me feel sad but at the same time, I know I'm not the only one going through this. And the people on this site give me hope.
