Hi,
Does anyone know what date Vermont is working on for Montreal I-601 cases? I haven't seen or heard of anyone being approved from there recently.

Atty. Laurel Scott mentioned that Vermont is taking about 12 months to process waivers. The last approval I saw was in July and took about 17 months.

Call them to find out your status. It is possible that you are approved and No one knows about it. They are having quite problems communicating the Case status. In regards to time, It varies. Sometime they move fast and mostly it is more than six to 9 months what Monteral communicates to us.

Do you have a number to call? When I call the number they gave me it is automated and just says when they received it and how long it can take to be processed?

I've read a lot about Montreal/Vermont cases here and on VJ. The idea I've been given is that you need to have your Senator involved because of how disorganized the two are. Even after you are approved Montreal will take forever without assistance.

It was the USCIS Service Centers that I spoke to not the Vermont Service Center. I thought that I am speaking to VSC. The way to call USCIS from Canada is, first you call director office at 202-2721000 and then ask them to redirect you to the USCIS Customer Service. I wish you good luck.
