ds-156 question

I know this is probably not the right section for this question, but I thought someone might know here what I can do. I live in Mexico with my husband who was denied a visa for 10 years and I am pregnant with our first child and am going to return to the united states to give birth, my question is has anyone ever applied for this temparary visa while having this bar against them. I read on several websites that with this bar you are not permitted to return to the United States until the 10 years is up, but at the bottom of the page it says exceptions...and one is if the attorney general says he can come for say 3 months he will be permitted to come? I hope this is clear I am so confused...any help?

Bump....I am not sure what ds-156 is, but I know that sometimes people are successful at getting Humanitarian Parole while they are waiting in Mexico for a waiver decision...which sounds like what you are describing...I hope someone else see this who has more expertise...
