I am going to petition for my hubby and daughter through the I-130 process. I know that i do not need to have an avidavit of support for her as she has the right to apply for u.s citizenship once she is in the u.s
My question is how do i start and/or claim her citizenship once we are in the u.s. Do i apply for her to have a u.s passport?
Background: I the mother(usc) do not have enough physical presence in the u.s.
thanksfor all help given

You've totally checked out every angle on this? It's crazy between unmarried and married mothers (suprisingly less time for unmarried). Even if there is no qualification based on presence, I hope the I-130 processes quickly.

It sure is totally crazy, i have a son (born out of wedlock) who has just received his u.s passport and a daughter who doesnt qualify for a u.s passport at present,
All will sort itself out.

And you also have this: "Effective 1 April 1995, a child born outside the U.S. to a U.S. citizen parent, if not already a citizen by birth because the parent does not meet the residency requirement (see above), may qualify for expeditious naturalization based on the physical presence of the child's grandparent in the U.S. In general the grandparent should have spent 5 years in the U.S., 2 years of which after the age of 14."
