Hi, thanks for reading my thread. I was in the process of assembling my
I-129f when I was diagnosed with cancer. Two surgeries later, the cancer is in remission and my future prognosis seems to be excellent. This has held me up for about six months in the application process. My fiance has been super supportive but is very anxious to see her family in Mexico. It has been 7 years since she left Mexico for the USA. I did hear that I could possibly expidite the I-129f. I called and wrote to my congressman but their office was reluctant to get involved since my Fiance came here illegally (they gave me the run-around). My question is, how do I go about expiditing my application? Do I include a seperate letter stating my condition? I have all the supporting evidence including pictures of two giant scars that scan my mid-section and I have all the lab reports from the hospital and my Oncologist. I apologize to all of you who have been anxiously waiting for your applications to get approved and I don't mean to attempt to "Jump ahead of anyone." Thanks for all your help and support.

I suggest you contact another location of your senator's office or the other state senator. The details of your fiance's entry have no bearing or relationship to your request for expedited processing. That said, service centers won't expedite applications unless there is a medical emergency -- if you are now in remission there may not be sufficient cause to expedite at this point. You can also contact the service center yourself - locate their contact information on their webpage.

I agree with kitkat; I'm not sure that your condition as it is today will warrant an expedite - but you don't know if you don't try!
