FBI name check

Does anyone has experience or pending with FBI name check. Can someone shed some lights and how long have you been waiting. I have been waiting since this march.

None has gotten it in the timeframe stated. It was longer... :( Sad to say....

Mine took about 5 or 6 months if I remember correctly.

Our DIL's took 2 months.

I searched high and low when we were in your shoes. Pretty much what I found out is there is nothing to do but wait.

She had to go and do full fingerprints at the consulate for the FBI check and then she had to wait until the check was finished before she could even schedule her first appointment at the consulate.

I hope you get the clearance soon.

oops -- I totally misundestood the question -- thought you were referring to sending something to the FBI for a fingerprint check!!! sorry
