Hello!

I am new to all of this. I EWI 7 yrs ago when I was 14, and now I am trying to adjust my status but I'm so stressed out!! I am so scared of not being able to come back, I don't want my baby to grow up saying "that man in that picture is my daddy" or "the man that talks to me on the phone is my daddy". My boyfriend does not know how to speak Spanish and he works for the govt so there's no way he'll live in MX if they don't accept my I-601 waiver, plus he has a son form a previous marriage. And on top of that my mom's health is not good.

Well I am looking forward to learn form you, your cases and experiences.

Hello Again Chikiprada,

I'm pretty new to this website too but for what I've been told by the experienced members and for what you describe your situation to be like...

I think you have a very good chance of getting approved. Specially that son of your husband from his previous marriage. He could argue that he won't be able to see his son as often and also his ex won't let him take his kid down to Mexico with him.

I don't know too much but I've been reading a lot and have been given some info from other members. They are all very helpful and I'm sure they will help you with any questions you might have.

I'm in your shoes right now ( talking about being an ewi who has not filed anything yet)

Another thing I was told is... If things get hard in cdj and you have not left the country you can resquedule your interview or even back off the whole process. It was one of my concerns and was told by Laurafern11 that I can back off.

So far I've been able to see more good news that bad ones. So there is hope for us.
