Has anyone gone through the process of obtaining a I-601 waiver of a Fraud/Misrepresentation inadmissibility for an adult son of a US Citizen mother?

I think you can do this.
For the 3 and 10 years bans and for misrepresentation, the qualifying relative must be a US citizen or permanent resident spouse or parent, or a US citizen fiancé(e).

OK sorry, I just saw your other post and realized the "fraud" was for falsely claiming US citizenship. In that case, I don't think it is waivable.

Not all such claims result in a ban, depends what it was.

If the USCIS decides to interpret the transgression as Misrepresentation, is it difficult to get a fraud waiver (I-601) through as an adult child of a USC mother?

What are the details of the "misrepresentation"?
