HI, I am Jessica and am in Ciudad Juarez with my husband, Timo, and our 2 sons, ages 5 and 4 months. My husband's first appt. was 9/28. They wanted a paper from the court stating that there were no other papers regarding an arrest from 1992 that was dismissed even though he gave them the certified disposition from the court showing it was a non-charge/dismissed. We have been trying and trying, along with 3 others, to get his infopass appointment for the past 15 days without success. I am grateful for this website and the hope it offers from others in our situation. We are frustrated and not impressed with Ciudad Juarez. Our family moved to Mexico in 2005 when my husband was deported and it has been quite hard. We are trying to keep the faith and be patient.

Ah, you must be the friend Laura asked for help for! Welcome :)
I hope the stinkin' infopass system lets you all get appointments soon. Are you ready for the appointment?
I admire you for living in Mexico all this time! I lived there for 6 months and was ready to goooo when the time came. (Although if my husband and I had our own place it would have been wayy easier! My in-laws are wonderful, but it's still hard to live like that!)
Anyway, the whole point was to welcome you! lol:wave:

JT, do you have any friends or family members that you can trust to help you try and get an InfoPass? That might be another option.

Thanks everybody. My mom, myself and 4 others are trying. I spent hours again today. We are praying and about 5 days a week optimistic and 2 days it gets a bit hard to be! I try to put in 5 hours a day and run my business in the US over the phone and fax and take care of our baby and 5 year old. I look forward to getting the appt. and stopping all the crazy clicking!

Hi.
my husband got an appointment the same day through info-pass with a person working in Juarez who helps people with their immigration waivers. This man got him an appt. and also filled all his paperwork out for $45.00 dollars.. If interested email me and I will ask him the name of the man in Juarez that got him the appt.

These people are not authorized to buy and sell those appointments. I hope your husband's appointment is a real one, because a number of people have bought appointments and showed up to find out they weren't real. What paperwork did this guy fill out? I would make sure it's done right.

I second Laurafern11. That sounds a bit sketchy. I hope, however, that it is not and this is a knowleageable person. Like Laura said, infopasses are not for sale and could end up being not legiate.

I understand your concern but this man was not a FAKE.. My hubby got his appt. the same day and now he is coming home with me on friday, because his waiver was approved on Monday. This man filled out my hubby's i-601 waiver and got him a appt. the same day.. My husband is happy because he also didnt trust this man, but I told him not to judge this man and go ahead with it.. He paid him $45.00 and WELL he now is coming back home to me this friday because his I-601 waiver was approved.

I'm so glad he was approved!!! The I-601 is an easy form to fill out, and obviously there are people who are buying up and selling Infopasses, but that doesn't make it legal. I'm not sure what they are doing to crack down, but it's a known problem. Laurel reported that they are going to double the number of Infopasses soon, so that should help a lot!!! Anyway, so glad things worked out for you and your husband! Congrats!
