Does anyone know if there would be a change in the law that would allow a waiver of this ground of inadmissibility?

False citizenship claims are not waivable and carry a lifetime ban. Since there are no proposed changes in law right now, I wouldn't expect it to happen anytime soon, if ever.

While Kitkat is correct that currently a false claim charge is unwavable, this is something that is addressed in the provisions that American Families United is working on as part of a waiver equities provision.

We are working with a lobbyist to educate and raise awareness of the issues facing American families in immigration. Our goal is to get immigration legislation passed that reunites families in this and other similar situations.

We have made much progress but still have much work to do. You can help in the effort by joining your voice with the group by becoming a member or signing our petition. If you would like to do more, you can choose to become a volunteer or donate to help support the lobbying effort. This organization is driven by families like ours that are separated or may be because of current draconian immigration laws. The website is www.americanfamiliesunited.org.

With your help, we can make a difference.
