jUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE HERE KNOW THERE IS HOPE.MY WIFE AND SON ARE FINALLY APPROVED AFTER WAITING for AOS APPOINTMENT HERE IN Los Angeles FOR 5 months we had our interview and we are approved. The interview lasted 1 1/2 hours, which is contrary to what people had told us that it would be a few minutes.Never mind.I took all of my paperwork and I am glad i did ,I needed some copies that they "didnt have" even though we have sent it to them many times! When we went to the doctor for medical exams I had the presence of mind to ask for two sealed copies, one to mail to them and one to keep, this is what they asked for, even though I had already mailed it to them and they should have had it.also passport copies even though we had submitted that one multiple times! How does the government get by with so much dis-organization?.Keep copies of EVERYTHING!!! We had to go through a 601 waiver application from Turkey which took 1 year and 9 months and now 6 months here and it is finally over! Keep the faith, pray daily and believe,it will happen,Praise God.

Blueidbill,
Ok, I'm a little worried. You mentioned having to provide proof of the Medical Exam. We didn't have to complete the medical exam over as it hadn't been a year. We did however have to submit the I-693A which the doctor's office only provided one copy of in a sealed envelope. Yes, it seems every time I turn around, they are asking for documents I've already submitted at least six different times. . .I hope our AOS interview is smooth. I suppose I'll end up taking every piece of paper I've ever submitted just to be on the safe side.
