Very informative!!! My hubby understood your Spanish videos just fine!!!! Awesome resource....Are you considering posting more videso? If so, what topics?

Once again, way awesome resource. You know some people are not readers or have a difficult time understanding the process by just reading information, but with the videos is clears a lot of things up, atleast it did for my hubby. He is not a reader, but I am.

That feedback makes me feel better. I was afraid my Spanish was completely incomprehensible. Well, now you all understand why I won't do consultations in Spanish.

I split the Spanish part up into two parts because in Spanish I couldn't get through the whole thing in one take without using an explitive.

I was going to record some more tonight, but I realized I left my microphone at my sister's house.

Hey give me some You Tube ratings, ya'all.

Will do!!!!

I think it was well done. Spanish is difficult because there are feminine and masculine words. But otherwise easy to follow. My husband and I watched it and we understood what you said. You could get by with doing Spanish consultations if you had to.....you would do fine.

I'm glad you two are back together, by the way, Mini. Yours is one of those cases that reminds me why I put myself through this.

I still need YouTube ratings, ya'all. No one has left YouTube comments or ratings.

We are extremely happy to be together again. Thank you.

I was going to give you ratings on youtube, but it was late last night and I had to register to do it, I hate registering on sites, it takes forever and then you get all the bad junk mail.......I'll give it a try though.

Can someone translate the two new ones I put up today and then I'll do those in Spanish.

I thought for sure that "How to Legalize" would be the video YouTubers would be most interested, but "Rules for Illegal Aliens to Live By" is getting more attention. Right now the former one has more views, but I put it up earlier. The latter is catching up on number of views and has twice as many rating. It got lots of good ratings at first, but someone just gave it a bad rating - probably a restrictionist. I expect very, very mixed ratings depending on who is viewing. Of course its possible that it got a bad rating from a reformist who is mad that I keep saying "illegal alien" instead of "undocumented immigrant".

I did look at new video cameras last night and will try to get one today or tomorrow so I can re-record all the videos a bit better and have a disclaimer at the beginning of each one and a better still photo. The YouTube remixer just isn't working so I'll need some software. Unfortunately I don't think this computer has much more space for new software.

I too watched the video and I think your spanish is great. I can understand everything you say there.

Thanks for the helpful info.

Got a comment from a restrictionist regarding the "Rules for Illegal Aliens" video! I actual find that kind of exciting because normally the only people I reach are the ones who already agree with me and if we're going be changing people's mind we have to branch out. I think we just need to brace ourselves for some of the things people will say and do.

Which will be anything imaginable, many times wholly irrational, idiotic, and totally brazen...

Hopefully the videos can release some from the ignorance and hatred they have (and I respect you very much for trying)...

However, other anti-immigration folks are running just one step ahead of the rubber trucks chasing them...

Maybe the next CIR should be tied to a bill for mental health treament, so everyone can be happy when it passes...

Yes, I'm aware that the other side of this conflict is armed and dangerous: http://www.imdiversity.com/Villages/Hispanic/immigration/minutemen_1229.asp
and that the more successful we are in broadcasting our message, the more likely we are to come to the attention of this opposition.

Views for the "Rules for Illegal Aliens" video just eclipsed the views for how to legalize, even though the second video was up like a day earlier.

I like your video's

But watch yourself Laurel, I read the coments and so far it's tame but that could change..well you know how it is with that type of mindset.

Maybe you could contact Kyle at Immigration Orange and see if he would make a video, he is very knowledgable on the issue. http://immigration.campustap.com/Home.aspx

Fantastic article (and insight) even though it is a little dated:

The Tombstone Tumbleweed is shut down at this point...

The sign about Simcox's "bodyguard" carrying a weapon when he didn't himself was after he was caught (January 28th, 2003) with a pistol in Coronado National Park (a federal violation) and in addition to a fine, had a probation to not carry a weapon for a time (I think it was about two or three years, and is now lifted)...

I googled the referenced auto accident and found out the date of the interview would have then been October 18th, 2004 (the same way you can find out Vito Corleone's birthday in the Godfather movies based on another famous event)...

Why do I keep such useless trivia in my head?...

But watch yourself Laurel, I read the coments and so far it's tame but that could change..well you know how it is with that type of mindset.

I have given a lot of thought to the following: (a) unlike this forum, You Tube is frequented by a more diverse portion of the public, including the restrictionists, (b) in my videos I am openly providing helpful information to illegal aliens (though in a completely legal way), (c) some people will find my videos inflammatory and will get angry, (d) my name and image are on the videos, and (e) if you google me, I'm not hard to find.

I get it. I'm ready.

Laurel Scott

Ok, I bought a slightly better video camera and some software so I can put the disclaimer at the beginning of the video, convert the file and upload it back to YouTube. It'd be so much easier if the Remixer worked, but it doesn't so whatever.

I will have to re-record all the videos and replace the ones that are there now. That means I will lose all my views, comments, and stars. But the new videos will be better, so its all good.

I'm going to turn the most popular video (Rules for Illegal Aliens) into like three or four videos.

I've been re-recording the videos so I can add disclaimers. This means I'm replacing some of the old comments and stars and views, but new comments are cropping up quickly. Apparently since I help illegal aliens I'm as bad as an ambulance chaser. I'll give that nasty comment 2 points out of ten. I'm sure they can think of more biting comments than that.

This guy just "subscribed" to my YouTube "Channel": (URL deleted subsequent to post)

He's managing to stay hidden from public view on my Channel where subscribers are listed, but you can see there are 11 subscribers and only 10 names listed. I can view him on my account page.

It doesn't appear that he's posted anything and he hasn't sent me any messages, but obviously he's watching ... they're watching. I knew this would happen, but I'm still a bit shaken.

Actually, we should probably assume they've been watching us the whole time on this forum, too.

Of course, that appears to be a world-wide number.

Scary! I checked out his profile- I thought people were only allowed to live on the US Virgin Islands if they were nice! Did you notice he's subscribed to what looks like black porn. Interesting.

Oh, and seriously- which university gave David Duke a doctorate?? I was curious so I actually went to find this out. Here it is from Wikipedia:

In September 2005, Duke received a Ph.D. title in History from the Ukrainian Interregional Academy of Personnel Management (MAUP). His doctoral thesis was titled "Zionism as a Form of Ethnic Supremacism".[41] Duke had previously received an honorary doctorate prior to his PhD. Interregional Academy of Personnel Management is regarded as the main source of anti-Semitic activity and publishing in Ukraine,[42] and its "anti-Semitic actions" were "strongly condemned" by Foreign Minister of Ukraine Borys Tarasyuk and various Jewish interest and anti-racist organizations.[43][44][45][46] Duke has been allowed to teach an international relations and a history course at MAUP.[47]

Remember when he claimed he had left all that racial stuff behind him when he was running for governor back in the early 90s? Sigh. I really wish this whole movement was a big joke. It's sad they're for real.

Please (and this advice is for everyone) don't link any of the "bad" sites here - mask them with a tool like TinyURL.com if you want people to look over the link. I really wouldn't advise watching over their forums unless it's in a major investigative role (it's the same old racism you have seen before). Really, the red light goes on over the top of a monitoring system somewhere - The Feds watch these nuts pretty closely.

Ok, and good to see Ana edited your quote in her message to remove it too. St*rmFr*nt *is* one of the bigger hate sites out there. And let's just say I am *aware* of one particular incident to show how their members try to covertly sway immigration issues in the United States.

It was at the Hazleton, PA *anti-immigration* rally where mob rule almost took over to harm a Hispanic *U.S. citizen* newspaper editor that was covering the story. The main antagonist, a blonde-haired woman driving on the crowd, was later seen bragging on the St*rmFr*nt forum about her stand against the "mexcriment", *very* different from her initial interview after the incident where she said “I am not a hateful human being.” You can follow along what happened from this link (a "good" one):
