Hello all of you this is reynatejana, I was not able to log into my account using my old log in name

My husband and I are still waiting for my husband visa, I thought our nightmares were over. My husband got word his i-601 was approved june 19th of 2007. I sent out for his rcmp report for fingerprint and back ground check, now this was back in march of 2007. I surely expected for his report to be back by now. To our awareness, they are not. I phoned the number to get information and this service is an auotmated service, so i left a message hoping they would return my call, In fact they did not i phoned their office several different times.

I then emailed then twice and still nothing, my husband and I decided to make a special trip to Ottawa, were these fingerprints go to after you send them in.

We were so excited, cause we thought we would for sure get the information we needed in order to finish our final process at montreal.

Our plans have been so messed up, My children have made their move to the states without their parents, they needed to go to start school, we were so sure we would have been right behind them in the move.

To make a long awful storey short. the peeps at the rcmp told us that his fingerprints entered into their system in Aug of 2007, which means that we can't inquire information for 120 days................... OH MY GOODNESS.

I could not belived what I was hearing, I felt like I was in the twilight zone.

We have the director information, so I have writting a letter to see what that gives us.

In the mean time we are getting ready to make our move, my husband is not allowed into the states so he has decided to move to mexcio. My husband is a born mexican so I don't think he will have any problems

Can anyone give me any information on motels in the area of nuevo laredo

My advice is to NOT go to Nuevo Laredo. Stay in Canada until this is cleared up. You dont want to make things more complicated. Maybe someone else can chime in here with some advice that have gone through Canada. I know you may have done this but I would be calling the embassy or calling Vermont to find out what the problem is and where that visa is.

Start by contacting your US senator - I provided info on that in the duplicate thread.

Contact the PMs office and explain why you need those reports from Ottawa ASAP. I got good results when I did that.

Hi Kenaly~

If would I have to contact? What office of the MP's office. We are in the Durham area, just on the out skirts of the Toronto on the east side. First thing in the morning I am going to fax the Director of the Civil Fingerprints department in Ottawa. I am hoping that she can do something for us, I am attaching my receipt of the third set of fingerprint I got back in March of this yr. I tell you they should for sure be back by now.

So if you can Kenaly, send me the info on how to contact the right person.

Go straight to the PM (Prime Minister) office.
Send an e-mail and fax. Here is the info:

Office of the Prime Minister
80 Wellington Street
Ottawa
K1A 0A2

Fax: 613-941-6900
pm@pm.gc.ca

The MP is a good second choice, but we got faster results from the PM.

Also send a fax to the RCMP:
Fax: 613-993-0260
