Hi Blue, this is actually hebapotamus. Any news with regards to your case? I am becoming more and more convinved that my husband will never come here. I don't believe anymore that the decisions made on our cases are objective. I sent in a brand new I130 to start all over again. :bluesad:

Hi Heba,
I'm sorry, I know exactly how you feel. My husband feels about the same, that he will never get the visa and that no hope situation is even worse than being in limbo. It is hard for me to try to convince him there is hope because I have lost hope myself.

We have been waiting on our Motion to Reconsider which wasn't reconsidered but just forwarded as an appeal in April 2006. In December 2006 they agreed to expedite the appeal and answer in 30 days. That was was almost 8 months ago and still nothing. They kept telling Congressman Honda and me that it is assigned to an officer and is expedited and being actively reviewed -even though it is well past the 30 days.

But then I contacted Senator Boxer to see if they can help and AAO told Senator Boxer that it actually wasn't expedited at all and was never even assigned to an officer.

More of the same BS. That and so much more have really taken a toll on our relationship.

I hope things are better for you. Believe, I don't want to be so negative because our experience is ours and I don't wish it on anyone else. I wish only the best for your family and strength and determination to get through it. If I had to do it over again, I would go to live together in another country. Unfortunately for us, we never in our wildest dreams expected what we got and even if we had, my obligations to my family here makes it impossible for me to leave. But if you have that chance, take it.

Take care!

HEY GUYS:How ru doing? . I just wanted to ask you if you have tried for humanitarian parole. I believe is a faster process and also if it is denied one can try over and over again. If you'd like to know more about it. just go to their web site... USCIS.gov and type humanitarian parole in their search engine. Good luck and God bless you.

Hi Antz,
We are doing better, thank you. Slowly getting through the re-adjustment after this ordeal and what it did to our family. My husband's visa was issued and he came home in December, after almost 6 years.
