I just found this website AFTER my husbands Visa appointment. If only I would have found it sooner. I called my friend after my husband was denied ,due to the I-160 waiver, and had her start trying to make our appointment. I was in Ciudad-Jarez with him during the med exam and the visa appointment. When my friend tried to access theinfo pass she thought there was a glitch in the system and started doing research and that is when she found this website. IT HAS TOTALLY HELPED WITH MY FRUSTERAtION AND ANXIETY.
I started our Visa process in August of 2004. Due to the fines it has taken us this long. I am in living in Nevada with our 4 kids and he is living in Nayarit Mexico with his parents. We are blessed with GREAT FRIENDS and a wonderful community to help us threw this. My husband and I both have CLEAN records in Mexico and the U.S.A and we are hoping to be approved his visa at the waiver apt.(if I ever get threw!) I know now, thanks to this website, I need a SPECTACULAR "EXTREME HARDSHIP" LETTER.
I do not have a lawyer and have done all the paperwork myself. To make a long story short I started asking around, going to a notary for these situarions, and even went to a lawyer. EVERY PERSON TRIED SENDING ME IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION WITH DIFFERENT INFORMATION. Right off the bat I knew it was all up to me to get this done right and investigate it all myself. We called into the immigration office(900 number) and just about read the entire uscis website. I have been gong CRAZY with all this and it has taken off a big weight on my back finding this website.
We have tried CONSTANTLY to get threw the inforpass and HHHhhhh, no luck.
I could go on and on but my son has a soccer game to go to and I need to shower. All I could think about Thursday and Friday is getting the I-160 appointment and didn't shower.http://immigrate2us.net/forum/images/icons/icon7.gif
