Does anyone know what is the first step in filing a 212(d)(3) waiver from Canada with a visitors visa. First of all some background info. Ewi 1997, Never arrested or problems with the law, immigrated to Canada legally, Filed a fiance petition with the hope of filing 601 waiver through Guyana Consulate.I want to vist fiance and meet family. IS it possible to file the 212(D)(3) with the Guyana Consulate? I now live in Canada.
I herd this type of waiver takes longer in Canada than other countries. Can I do it while the fiance visa/601 is processing?
