I am new on this site. My husband and I just got married June 29th of this year. I am a US citizen...Any comfort you can provide on this scary process would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have read a letter on here to get an idea, can anyone give me some advice on how to write an effective letter. We have hired an attorney and she has stated we need to provide proof of extreme hardship. I am currently in school, working full time, raising 4 children. ( None biologically my new husbands) I am not allowed to leave the state because of my divorce and custody arrangements.

Dana, tell us your husband's timeline here (or post it in your signature) so that we can answer your questions. But then any other questions, for example your hardship letter questions, should be asked in the appropriate topic. Make sure if you have a question you start a new thread so people notice it! :)
Welcome!

you're doing fine. If you're husband entered illegally, post in the I601 forum with his timeline and people will help you in the process!
