Caya,
Because of the Pilot Program, my husband was approved at his infopass appt. Please read this helpful post re: Pilot Program (http://immigrate2us.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1445)
As of March 2007, everyone going to CDJ for their 1st interview and eligible to file waiver I-601, will go through Pilot Program. After your interview, you will then go to your scheduled Infopass appt (which is scheduled at uscis.gov, it can only be scheduled 2 weeks in advance, you should schedule it before you leave to your interview, and you should schedule it 2 days after your interview to leave enough time for the fingerprint results to clear).
In order to be approved at infopass, your case needs to be "clearly approvable". So make sure you take the time to prepare a strong, convincing, well-organized waiver packet (which includes your hardship letter with supporting evidence to all your arguments).
Hope this helps. But let me know if you have any more questions. BTW, welcome to the site :welcome:
When is your interview? If you don't mind, I'll add you to our "Thread for CDJ 1st Interviews"
