I am filing both I-601 and I-212 in Honduras. I need to know what to include with the I-212. I read through the other threads but could not find a clear answer. Do I need to write another letter? Or just duplicate the HSL or the whole I-601 packet? The instructions that they gave my hubby are not very clear either. :please:

Was your husband deported, ie. removed from the U.S.?
If so, you need the I-212, if he was not, most likely you just need the I-601.
Even if he was deported and you need both forms, you only need one letter. They adjudicate those together.

Yes I need to file both. I was just wondering if I need to file anything else along with the I-212 or just submit along with I-601 and HSL.

I recomend making 2 packets...
They could be the same but just different forms....
We turned in 2 at CDJ.... just in case....
They did put them togeather though...
Good Luck!!!

FWIW - I believe Laurel has stated that they adjudicate them together, so only one packet is necessary.
