June 2004- Filed I-130
February 2005- I-130 interview and approval
August 2005- Discovered that USCIS "forgot" to send approved I-130 to NVC
February 2006- Case completed at NVC
February 13, 2007- 1st interview at CDJ
March 1, 2007- Submitted I-601 waiver
March 2007- attempted 1st expedite with senator- no answer
April 2007- attempted 2nd expedite with senator- no answer
May/June- attempted 3rd expedite BY MYSELF
June 12, 2007- Approval of I-601 waiver
September 18, 2007- 2nd interview in CDJ for visa pick-up!!!
September 19, 2007 at 1:30 am- HUSBAND ARRIVED IN WASHINGTON, DC!
Did not use a lawyer at any time!
PS- For anyone writing an I-601 waiver and has a handicapped child and needs assistance with the letter, PM me and I can provide you with my hardship letter....
