Which office would I need to mail a request for records about an Expedited Removal? It was recently pointed out to me that there could be more records than the ones the officer gave us.

Matt74 posted this information towards the end of this thread:

For FBI check, you need your husband's fingerprints, a special FBI check coverletter and a money order for $18.
Though to be honest, I don't think it would help much in this case. The information that comes back is very basic. It will state where someone was arrested or charged with a crime but won't go into the details that you want.
If you want details, you have to do a Freedom of Information ACT (FOIA) Request, but that can take up to a year or more. Though I heard that you can do a FOIA request directly to the border patrol which supposedly takes less time. My office is trying the latter, but I haven't yet seen firsthand whether it is truly quicker.
Here is the link for the FBI fingerprint request

Thank you :)
Went to the BP office site, I'm just wondering what else they have (besides the seven pages they gave me the night it happened.)

FYI: Matt74 is a lawyer in maybe Arizona or Colorado, he posts from time to time.
Really hard to know...maybe nothing.
But you are doing something/everything that you can think of to try and move this along.
Hopefully there will be a break through soon.
Good Luck! :)

Really? As I recall, he posted that fiances are not eligible for waivers. Yikes.

Maybe I should get a job with him! Scary - it reminds me of Cory Melkers' case where they married about 6 weeks before their waiver was approved because the lawyer said they should not have been eligible as fiances and that it wouldn't be approved. And now they had to start all over :(
