Well, guess what? today, I decided to call the number that you call & pay with a credit card at CDJ, but I think it
s a Guanajuato number. This guy told me that my husband's case could take up to December 3rd to get an answer on it because DHS is now taking 12 to 15 months. Needless to say, I broke down. He said waivers were NOT being sent to any other consulates. Whatever. I had such a miserable morning. Which in turn is making me have a bad day. I just want this to be over!!!!

He works in a call center. He doesn't know anything about DHS's policy of sending waivers to other locations. He has no accurate information regarding waiver timing. Ignore the whole conversation -- it will come!

WOW, these people really don't have a clue do they? This is all so heartbreaking in that we know that's not true; look at the people from Jan and Dec that have already been approved and their spouses are back at home already from open appt!

We are now @ almost 11 months and counting, in another 11 days will be full 11 months and if we don't get our approval before Nov 2nd then my husband will have to do his Medical, how unfair is this, totally to say the least, not our fault and these clinic's are making a killing on redoing medicals and more shots!:bang::curse:

DHS is processing these any way they see fit, and yes we do know that what that person told you is so off, so wrong. There are other Consulates processing these waivers, TJ, MX City, CDJ and San Salvador, 4 of them and still not caught up, what is truly wrong with this picture so you cannot rely on what they tell you.

Our day should be here shortly, I just feel like we will have something way before Thanksgiving and our spouses will be at home very shortly, it's getting to the end of the list now. I too have cried many a tear on this issue and it has to be over with sooner than later at this rate.

Keep the faith that your time is coming!:D

Take care and know your not alone!

Genie~ thanks for such great words. We are only a week ahead of you. I am also upset knowning that Roberto will have to pay more money for the medical exam. They make so much $$ off of us. Stay positive we will all be hearing something soon. I have also called and they told me it is taking 12 months then I called the next day and was told 12-14. I also broke down. I am not sure who knows what is going on down there.

That's right. I was just so upset. I told him about the pilot program, he said, no that's a lottery, where it's random who gets selected to be approved. :wha:
WTH??? This guy was nice and all, very patient with my frantic crying... but he fed me so much BS! :curse:

Anyway, I'm glad I have this forum to vent to because I was ready to call my husband and tell him "Come home NOW - forget everything!!!"

Thanks Im2USer's - Love all of you guys and I know with the support I get from here, I will make it through this. :ty:

I honestly think they make things up just to screw with people. It's very sadistic. They probably come to the site afterwards to read what the person posts and laugh about it. Next time try telling the person, you know what? You are a loser and full of sh*t! You are a pathetic glorified telemarker that has nothing better to do than make up stories about other people's visa cases. Good luck with your pitiful little life.

I am pretty new to this site, and I noticed that there is stuff being said about having to do the medical exams again. Can somebody explain that to me please? :)
